Paeng Receives his Gold Coach Award at the International Bowling Museum and Hall of Fame

ARLINGTON, Texas, March 28, 2014 - Paeng Nepomuceno of the Philippines, one of most regarded international competitors and coaches in the world of bowling will be received his Gold level coaching certification and award in front of his life sized image which is prominently displayed at the entrance of the International Bowling Hall of Fame and Museum based in Arlington, Texas during the World Coaching conference. The World coach conference was held at the International training and research center in cooperation with the World tenpin Bowling Association. Paeng is Asia’s first and only USBC Gold Level Certified Coach.

USBC Gold is the highest certification for coaches, much like receiving a doctorate in a field of study. Paeng is one of only 25 active coaches to currently hold the designation.

Nepomuceno, 57, USBC’s International Ambassador for Bowling, has teamed with USBC for more than seven years to promote the sport of bowling and coaching. He has taught Level 1, Bronze and Silver seminars throughout the world.

“The World Coaching conference will be hosted by the International Training and research Center located at the USBC General Headquarters based in Arlington, Texas and it will be held from March 27-31 and is in cooperation with the World Tenpin Bowling Association.The said conference will bring the coaching world from 20 countries  together and it will give the coaches an opportunity to see what is being taught worldwide. Many international and domestic coaches will be presenting the latest informative material that will help increase the knowledge of coaches,” said Carolyn Dorin- Ballard, Director of Coaching Certification and Development Department

The USBC Coaching Certification and Development Department conducts classes throughout the world to help train and certify coaches.

.Nepomuceno is one of the most successful international bowlers of all time. He is a six-time world champion, becoming the youngest world bowling champion at 19, and has won 126 career titles worlwide.
